Dr. Carol Hicks

Dr. Hicks has been a member of the Marshall community since 2012 and is excited to be one of the founding members of the Marshall Theater Company.

My Journey

Dr. Carol A. Hicks earned a doctorate in Interdisciplinary Studies in Fine Arts with a focus on Theatre from Texas Tech University, a master’s in Theatre from Texas State University, and a Bachelor’s in Speech and Drama from Trinity University. She has directed, designed, produced, or acted in multiple stage plays ranging from Antigone, Macbeth, Ordinary People to The Wizard of Oz and improvisational productions of An American Christmas and TV Theme Songs.
